FWD

• FWD has a Western working culture, so there is no requirement to clock in by 8:30 AM or show strict deference to elders (most of the high-ranking positions are held by foreigners). Working hours start around 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM; simply put, don't show up ridiculously late.

• As for leaving time, it depends on the workload. Mostly, it's around 6:00 PM, and it's rarely up until 11:00 PM.

• You can claim overtime (OT).

• They offer a reasonable salary.

• Their office is located at the Sindhorn Building.

• As of now (07/2023), employees work 2 days at the office and work from home (WFH) 3 days per week.

• Overall, it is a highly recommended company to join.

Krungthai AXA

1. It is a high-paying company, with a base salary starting around 26,000 baht (this might be outdated information).

2. Krungthai AXA has a Western working culture similar to FWD.

3. Overtime (OT) can be claimed as of now (07/2023).

4. Employees work 2 days at the office and work from home (WFH) 3 days per week.

5. The office is located at G Tower, next to Central Rama 9.

Actuary Business Solution

• Owned by Mister Jiaramaneetaweesin, or Khun Tommy, who also serves as the CEO.

• Khun Tommy is easy to talk to and hires easily, making it suitable for fresh graduates.

• You can wear anything to work.

• The culture is similar to a foreign company.

• You don't need to clock in in the morning. For the most part, you can head home by 6:00 PM.

• The office is located near BTS Talat Phlu.

• Offers a low salary.

• Overtime (OT) cannot be claimed.

AIA

• AIA has a very heavy workload. If you are looking for a work-life balance, this might not be the right fit.

• Pays well in accordance with the workload.

• Frequently accepts interns. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend interning at AIA.

• AIA has a Western working culture.

MSIG

• Does not hire Junior Actuaries; they only hire for higher-level actuary positions.

• Uses actuaries from their headquarters in Singapore to handle the work instead.

• Accepts interns, but since there is no local actuarial department, it might not be very suitable.
